Chateau Vartely was founded in 2008, but has already achieved so much. This young but ambitious winery, has already established itself as one of Moldova’s top wineries both locally and internationally, receiving over 10,000 keen wine tourists a year.

Chateau Vartely carries the fine traditions of French vineyards, which blend the production of wine with the cultural aspect of ecotourism. The Chateau Vartely boasts a peculiar architectural style and an amazing landscape, overlooking the picturesque vineyard from the top of the hill. The yard itself features special elements of a wine museum, which further emphasizes the perfect mix of architecture and the art of winemaking.

In the cellars and tasting rooms of Chateau Vartely visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a unique tasting session, which are carried by professionals. Each of them carries in their origins the three essential elements: the earth, the sun, and the water - the so-called Terroir. But beyond these, they also carry their undeniable connection with Man, the creator of wine. This symbolic kinship between the natural spirits of the place and the passion and hard work of humans has been the cornerstone of the TOTEM wine concept. This is how the philosophy of TOTEM wines is perceived - a collection of five wines loaded with native symbolism and the legends of these places that we warmly invite you to discover.

During this wine tour, three wines from the TOTEM series will be tasted, and the following snacks will be provided: speck with olives, Feta cheese with cucumbers and vegetables, a set of bread and nut crisps, and smoked plum wrapped in bacon.
