Tour Overview
Feel at home on this lovely day out to the Kartli region for a day of culture, wine and food.
In the morning visit the medieval monastery of Jvari, one of the most beautiful churches in Georgia where you will enjoy stunning views and clean mountain air.
This will be followed by a visit to a family-owned distillery where the ancient craft of Georgian brandies is being revived. The brandy will warm your spirit for the slow lunch in the nearby countryside at one of the friendliest wineries in Georgia.
Enjoy a visit to a traditional marani (winery) followed by a cooking demonstration and a lunch of local products, grown or produced by the family, with the winemaker and his wife.
You’ll have the opportunity to walk among the vines, talk with the winemaker and take photos.
