Every wine has history. The story, where several episodes are intertwined to make a beautiful novel, embodied in a ruby drink in a crystal glass. Georgian wine is not only a story, but myths, legends and sagas.
In this short but rather intensive one-day tour in Kakheti, you will learn about all the facets of winemaking: from growing and collection of the best sorts of grapes, to making special clay vessels for aging the wine, to degustation details, to the amazing Georgian wines.
Your guide will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Tbilisi for the journey to Kakheti, the cradle of Georgian wine.
Passing through the Gombori pass, you will arrive in the Vardisubani village, where you will visit a family which makes qvevri, Georgian clay vessels for keeping wine in.
