Tour Overview
Go off-the-beaten-path into one of Barcelona's most beloved neighbourhoods, Gracia for a tasting experience like no other. This small village was on the outskirts of old Barcelona before being swallowed by the city in 1897. Despite this, the neighbourhood proudly retains its village-like feel and is home to an abundance of business owners and food entrepreneurs who have helped put Gracia on the map as a Barcelona foodie destination.
With a strong focus on Catalan foods and traditions, this tour is perfect for those looking for the Spain beyond paella and sangria and Barcelona beyond Las Ramblas. You'll meet the locals behind the food, sip vermouth in an age-old family-run bodega and visit a market. And that's just the beginning!
Throughout the day with your expert local guide and fellow food lover enjoy over 10 different tastings, all homemade by the locals. Sample 2 typical Catalan beverages (cava and vermouth). Juice or water available to non-drinkers. Discover the local history, stories & traditions you won't hear about in other parts of Spain! This tour is made up of intimate groups of up to 12 food-loving guests and can be vegetarian friendly.
Please note: Children can join the tour too, and children's tickets are available for children between the ages of 5-12. Non-eating under 5s do not need tickets.
