To enjoy a memorable day out of town and escape Barcelona, we propose a complete experience where you will visit the Monastery of Montserrat and delve into the Penedès region to learn all about the fascinating world of wine. The influence of the sun and the Mediterranean Sea make the Penedès a privileged territory for winemaking.

Take a morning away from the hustling & bustling of the crowd and enjoy a relaxed trip to the Monastery of Montserrat. Visit the famous “Moreneta” and enjoy the singing of the monks and the boys choir (If available).

Take the special chance to visit the museum of Montserrat, with its unique Dali’s, Caravaggio’s, Monet’s, Picasso’s paintings and visit the audiovisual space, that explains the history of its magical environment. At the end of the visit, take the chance to taste the monk’s liquors and pastries.

After the visit to the Mountain, will take you to Farmhouse where you will have lunch from farm to table based in a delicious 3- course menu; first course salad, second course combination of barbecue (vegetarian and halal option) and dessert with stunning views. In August the restaurant will not be the usual, but you will be able to appreciate the views of Montserrat.

After the lunch, we will drive to the Penedés wine region, where you will be driven to a family-run boutique winery. You will learn about the winemaking process while walking through the vineyards accompanied by a professional oenologist. The perfect ending to this outstanding getaway comes with the final wine tasting, including different cavas and wines, all paired with tapas.
