Description

Discover Château Lynch-Bages, a Pauillac Grand Cru Classé owned by the Cazes family since 1939.

Although there are records of the Bages territory as far back as the 16th century, the history of wine production in the area really began in the 18th century. Lynch-Bages also offers accommodation at the Château Cordeillan-Bages, a XVII century stately home with a 4-star Relais et Châteaux hotel, which has 28 rooms and a gastronomic restaurant.

From 1 January 2017 the Lynch-Bages technical facilities are under renovation. While waiting for the new facilities at the heart of Bages village to be completed, visitors will be setting off to Saint-Estephe to visit Château Ormes de Pez. This is an ideal opportunity for those wanting to know more about this estate, which belongs to the Médoc vineyard landscape since the 18th century, and in recent years developed a closer relationship with Château Lynch-Bages. The visit is followed by a Grand Cru Classé wine tasting.
