Tour Overview
DAY 1: Catania / Etna
Arrival at Catania airport and delivery of the rental car. Dinner by your own. Accommodation.
DAY 2: Catania / Etna - Etna - Randazzo - Catania / Etna
After breakfast, departure to Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. We will reach a height of about 1900 meters where we will visit the Wild Craters, now extinct and from where we will admire a lunar landscape. Lunch at a nearby restaurant where we will delight ourselves with typical dishes of regional cuisine and organic culture. We continue to Randazzo, a town on the slopes of Etna where we will taste the famous sweets made with pistachios, grown at the foot of the volcano. Return to Catania. Dinner by your own. DAY 3: Catania / Etna - Ragusa - Catania / Etna
After breakfast, departure to Ragusa: a wonderful city located in the south of the island and famous for its Sicilian Baroque. We will visit the cathedral and take a walk through the picturesque streets of the city. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Continuation to Modica: a city famous for its chocolate (Xocoat) worked according to the ancient methods imported during the Spanish rule. Return to Catania. Dinner by your own. Accommodation
DAY 4: Catania / Etna - Taormina - Catania / Etna
After breakfast, departure to the famous Taormina to visit the Greek Theater from where we will enjoy a unique view of Mount Etna and the Bay of Naxos. Lunch in a typical restaurant located in one of the elegant and romantic streets of the center. Free afternoon to walk around Taormina. Return to Catania. Dinner by your own and accommodation.
DAY 5: Catania / Etna
After breakfast, departure to Catania airport. Return of the rental car. End of our services
